TREBLEDEFF portrait artwork

04 / Label ethos

A label with a conscience.

TREBLEDEFF believes a record can be beautiful without treating its makers as disposable.

Our premise

The work is only as good as the way it was made.

Independent music does not need to copy extractive systems to reach people. We are building a smaller, clearer model based on mutual respect, open conversation and sustainable creative lives.

What this means in practice

The commitments we keep.

Artists are partners

Creative work begins with the artist's agency. We listen, state terms plainly and leave space for genuine consent at each decision point.

Clarity is care

Expect straightforward conversations about roles, credits, timelines, ownership and money. No fine-print culture, no manufactured ambiguity.

Credit travels with the work

Every contribution deserves to be recognised. Accurate metadata and visible acknowledgement are part of the release, not an afterthought.

Long view, lighter footprint

We prefer considered releases over churn, practical choices over waste and relationships that can outlast a campaign cycle.

For artists

The first conversation is not a contract.

If this way of working resonates, we would like to hear what you are making. Tell us where you are, what matters to you and how you hope a label partner might help.
